The bvse is the German federation of secondary raw material and waste-management companies, and its Altmetalltag — the “scrap metal day” — is the annual conference of the German scrap trade. Germany is Europe’s largest scrap collector and exporter, and the day’s sessions cover the ferrous and non-ferrous markets, European regulation (waste shipment, end-of-waste, CBAM) and the German mills’ requirements.
It is held in German, and attended by the processors, traders and mill buyers of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Benelux countries.
