Fastmarkets’ North American scrap conference is a market-focused event for the US and Canadian scrap trade: processors, mills, brokers and exporters meet to hear the agency’s price outlook and to discuss the domestic and export markets for ferrous and non-ferrous scrap. It is smaller and more specialised than the ReMA convention and is attended mainly by the trading and purchasing side.
The timing in spring follows the winter contract season and precedes the ReMA convention.
